I didn`t realize this one is smaller by one set of "holes", if you will, so it is considerably narrower. I also didn`t have the foot hole at the bottom on the other one, and decided I didn`t like it as well because I often use it as a space to put a book as I paddle out into the lake. It also feels `thinner" than my original one. I hope it lasts as long, but I doubt it.
